Basil flavored shortcrust pastry

  • 180g of flour
  • 90g of butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 30 ml ice water
  • 5 drops of Liposoluble basil flavouring

Preparation:

  1. One hour before starting the dough, take out the butter, cut it into cubes and let it soften at room temperature.
  2. When the butter is soft, put it in the bowl of a food processor, add the flour, salt and drops of basil flavouring and mix.
  3. The dough becomes sandy and crumbly.
  4. Then add the ice water and continue mixing. The dough must amalgamate.
  5. Once amalgamated, wrap it and let it rest for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  6. Then, to use, sprinkle a little flour on the work surface and roll out the dough.
  7. To cook, count 25 minutes at 210°C.
