Cream of carrot soup with chestnut flavouring

  • 1 onion
  • 70 cl of water
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 pinches of sugar
  • 500 g of carrots
  • 1 dl of fresh cream
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. tablespoon of natural chestnut flavor

Preparation:

1. Peel and finely chop the onion. Heat the oil in a casserole and let the onion fry for a few minutes.

2. Peel and grate the carrots. Add them to the pan and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring well.

3. Now pour the water into the pot, cover and simmer for 15 minutes on low heat.

4. Blend with a hand blender to a smooth and creamy soup.

5. Add 1 tablespoon of natural chestnut flavor.

6. Add sugar, salt and pepper.

7. Let boil again for 2 minutes.

8. Add the cream and serve immediately.
