I discoverLemon cake with organic Lavender aroma
For the cake :
190g flour
140g sugar
100g liquid cream
50g butter
3 eggs
3/4 cac baking powder
10g lemon zest
10 drops of organic lavender flavouring
For the icing:
100g cream cheese
15g powdered sugar
1 cac vanilla sugar
2 cac lemon juice
For the cake:
1. Preheat oven to 150°C.
2. Remove zest from lemons.
3. In a mixer, whiten the eggs with the sugar and the lemon peels.
4. Add the cream mixed with the melted butter.
5. Add the flour mixed with the yeast and the natural flavour of organic lavender.
6. Pour this smooth and thick batter into a 26 cm long cake pan.
7. Bake for 1 hour. For more greediness, add a glaze!
8. Whip the cream cheese with the sugars and lemon juice and cover the surface of the cold cake with it. Sprinkle with a few fresh lavender flowers for aesthetic appeal!
