Macaroni and meat gratin with natural thyme flavour

  • 1 onion
  • Salt and pepper
  • Grated Gruyère cheese
  • 1 knob of butter
  • 450 g macaroni
  • 150 g of leftover meat
  • 10 drops of thyme flavouring

Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 180°.

2. Cook your macaroni then drain them and add a knob of butter.

3. Add grated Gruyere cheese and leave to stand while you chop your meat.

4. Peel and chop the onion, then fry it in a little olive oil

5. Add the meat with the tomato coulis, salt, pepper and your 10 drops of thyme flavouring.

6. Simmer for 3 minutes.

7. Place a bed of macaroni in a baking dish, followed by a layer of your meat and tomato mixture.

8. Place the rest of the macaroni on top and cover with grated Gruyere cheese.

9. Bake for about 30 minutes and serve as is or with a salad.
