Organic Strawberry Flavored Donuts with Glaze

For the donuts:

1 packet of baking powder

50 g powdered sugar

1 pinch of salt

500 g flour

2 eggs

2 tablespoons of organic strawberry flavouring

75 g of butter

30 cl of milk

For the glaze :

1 lemon

A few drops of food coloring

200 g powdered sugar

1 egg white

Vermicelli colored or not in sugar

Donut preparation:

1. In a bowl, mix the yeast with the previously warmed milk and let stand for 5 minutes.

2. Now pour the yeast, eggs, salt and butter into a bowl. Also add the 2 tablespoons of natural organic strawberry flavor.

3. Knead the dough then cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rest for 1 hour at room temperature.

4. Pour some flour on your work surface and spread the dough.

5. Using a cookie cutter or a glass, cut out doughnuts and let them rest at room temperature, this time for 30 minutes.

6. Heat oil in your deep fryer or in a pan and then dip the donuts. Then drain and cool them on paper towels.

For the glaze:

1. Mix the white sugar, egg white, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and a few drops of food coloring.

2. Mix until you have a smooth glaze.

3. Then dip the donuts in the glaze and sprinkle with vermicelli.

4. Enjoy!
